Anybody got some good kids recipes or tea time ideas?
I’m thinking and will definitely post a few of my fairy’s favourites.
These beautiful Clementines are for sale where I work. They looked so beautiful I bought several for my little one. She absolutely loves fruit. If you mention berries she skips around the room. Well these clementines lived up to it, so sweet and full of juice. Hope there is some more at the market this weekend.

My first Klean Kanteen…….I love it I love it….Thank U!
My little one who is nearly 27 months has her days with food and I will say not only can it be worrying for Mummy and Daddy but very frustrating. The last two days have been particularly hard. She has eaten very little is drinking lots and still has bundles of energy. So is definitely not sick. Just one of those times. Patience is the key for me.
Anyway I had a copy of the fantastic Observer Food Monthly and the lovely McCartney family were featured in it talking about Vegetarianism. Mary McCartney had some kids recipes and I just did the smoothie one for my little girl this morning and it went down a treat.
here goes.
Serves 1 (Large Serving - So Mummy or Daddy gets to have a taste too)
1 Banana
4 Strawberries (fresh or Frozen
200ml Apple Juice
1 teaspoon Omega 3 or 6 Oil

My juice of the day!
Definitely not enough but it was an experiment and it tastes good
2 handfuls of Spinach
2 Celery Stalks
1 Apple
1 Carrot
Maybe some lime juice added would be nice…..Think Juice…
and after drinking the healthy juice a big slice of this was in order. Chocolate Beetroot cake……delicious.
My great friend and fantastic vegetable grower passed me a bag of beetroot last week. By the way I love beetroot. Rather that making my usual carrot & beet salad or goats cheese and roasted beet salad. I came up with two new yum ideas.
Here goes - Beetroot (including the tops) apple, celery & carrot juice.
